Bridge connecting Spain and Portugal
This bridge at Barca d'Alva in northeastern Portugal connnects Spain and Portugal over the Agueda river. Explorations in both countries begin from this point. An overland trip to Salamanca, Spain is very interesting with its university founded in 1218 and the town’s distinctive sandstone architecture.
